Okay, I think I was up to the part with the Merienda (which is afternoon tea). We went to this place and had afternoon tea. xD Wow, good job Leanne. Here´s pictures of the foods we ate, which are very typical of cafeterÃas (cafes), which means that there is literally nothing else that they sell (I don´t have a picture of empanadas or french bread, but those are the other two staples).

We ate here. |
Kind of a blurry picture, since I took it through a window, but on the horion is the skyline of Buenos Aires. The River here is the Rio Plata. |
Palm trees, and the water, and a few sailboats |
The awesome spoon for stirring the Submarinos. |
Medialunas (half moons). Basically a glazed croissant) |
random tidbit: everything in a restaurant costs money. No free water or butter or jam or bread. |
The chocolate bar for the submarino. It´s a chocolate bar that you stir into hot milk, and it melts. |
These things are everywhere. Cookie sandwich with dulce de leche |
finished product |
okay I´m WAY too tired to give the rest of these pictures captions, but it was gorgeous there.
