our guide Margarita, on the left (she carried around a bright red umbrella so that we could all see her and stick together), and the path we walked on (it was cobblestone)
this is what the floor looked like
bridge path
approaching garganta del diablo
a bit under the bridge we were walking on
the fog is water spray. It`s impossible to see the bottom of the falls from the top because of all the spray.
someone lost their hat, this was over the railing on the bridge part
Oh I should have mentioned earlier: the color of the water is chocolate.
In the corner, you can see a bird that is the South American equivalent of the Swallow. They nest in the cliff walls, behind where the water falls.
Herons!
I don`t remember the name of these falls, but they´re slightly smaller than garganta del diablo (which by the way means devil´s throat)
RAINBOW
random rock
I think this is my favorite picture with the rainbow. This was a little tributary flowing down a less steep part of the cliff.
Start of panoramic, looking toward the right
end of panoramic
Sorry, I tried the camera on a different setting.
This is really close to the waterfall. We got close enough to get soaked in the spray! I didn´t bring my camera that close, obviously.
