So. Not much has been happening, just getting settled into my classes. The photography class may be harder than I expected, just because the Argentine students like chit chatting with each other while the teacher is talking, and me with my auditory processing problems + it´s a foreign language = trouble hearing and understanding what the hell´s going on. Also, now I have photoshop. Dios mio! So much work, but yeah, there is a definite difference in the quality of the pictures. I think I also have an advantage because my camera takes such crappy original pictures, so my reworked images look that much better.
International students in my classes: they are pretty cool and stuff. My cine class is almost entirely American (oh, excuse me--estadounidense), from what I can tell, but in my ethics class there are two French girls, two Mexicans, a Colombian and a German guy, and my Spanish class has the Germans and a Swede and a Japanese girl and a mexican and Honduran, and the photography class has an Ecuadorean and South Korean. I feel super cultured and stuff. xD Also, it was neat talking to the South Korean girl, and telling her I´m from Chicago, and she was all "oh, United States, that´s cool!" It´s me being a biased EEUUdense, but I never really thought of it as a foreign country, much less a cool foreign country. I kind of assumed that people would look at me like "okay, imperialist scum" or something.
Still not sure if I´m going to stay in the Argentine culture class. Also, I´ll post pictures from my second visit to the Botanical garden soon.
